Terrible gum pain

I am having terrible gum pain, it is inside bottom near the wisdom teeth. It is very pain, already pain for a week. Do I need to see dentist?

This Friday my dear took leave to see doctor in the morning at 9.30am. I am not sure what time his check up will be over.
